Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS) has once again been recognized for its commitment to public welfare, securing two major honours at the 17th NFEH Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards. The organization has been awarded in the Public Health & Safety and Women Empowerment & Development categories, solidifying its role as a leader in emergency medical services and social progress.
The awards ceremony, held at Serena Hotel, Islamabad, brought together leading organizations, policymakers, and change-makers dedicated to driving social impact. Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, the Federal Minister of Maritime Affairs, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, presenting awards to the winners for their remarkable contributions.
SIEHS’s recognition in Public Health & Safety reflects its unmatched emergency response infrastructure, which includes a fleet of over 461 ambulances, rapid response units, mountain bike ambulances for congested areas, and mortuary vans ensuring dignified care for the deceased. Whether responding to life-threatening emergencies in bustling cities or navigating remote landscapes, SIEHS remains a lifeline for communities across Sindh.
Equally significant is the acknowledgment in Women Empowerment & Development. In an industry where women have often been underrepresented, SIEHS is paving the way for inclusivity, actively recruiting and training women in emergency healthcare roles. The organization’s efforts are reshaping perceptions and creating new opportunities for female professionals in frontline medical services.
As SIEHS continues to push the boundaries of emergency healthcare, these awards serve as a reminder of its unwavering dedication to saving lives and building a more inclusive, responsive, and resilient healthcare system for Pakistan.
