Consultant for the Development of an RMNCH+A Module on Tele-Tabeeb 1123

GENERAL PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary objective of this consultancy is to design and implement an RMNCH+A module within the Tele-Tabeeb 1123 platform of SIEHS. The module should integrate evidence-based practices, national policies, and international frameworks, offering tailored support for maternal, newborn, and adolescent health. It will provide counseling, advisory, and referral services related to family planning, nutrition, mental health, and immunization, contributing to improved health outcomes in the target population.

SCOPE OF WORK:

• Develop Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials and awareness messages tailored to the project’s needs.
• Conduct a comprehensive review of existing RMNCH+A frameworks, national policies, and telehealth models at the regional and global levels.
• Review the RMNCH+A module developed by the RMNCH Department of the Government of Sindh (GoS), customizing it for implementation on a digital platform, specifically targeting the needs of PLWs and adolescents in District Sujawal.
• Train Tele-Tabeeb call agents and supervisors on the RMNCH+A module, including specific areas like Basic Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (BEmONC), Standard Newborn Care (SNBC), Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC), immunization. Participants: MOs HIOs, DPT, COs.

DELIVERABLES:

• A technical proposal detailing the methodology, work plan, and timelines.
• A comprehensive RMNCH+A module document that includes:
• Detailed module components, covering areas such as ANC, PNC, family planning, breastfeeding, immunization, mental health, adolescent health, and nutrition.
• Guidelines for implementation, monitoring, and tracking of the module.
• Training materials for Tele-Tabeeb call agents and supervisors.
• IEC materials and awareness messages.
• Follow-up visit for final evaluation of participants.

Qualification:

• An advanced degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Medicine, or a related field.

• Familiarity with national and global RMNCH policies, programs, and interventions.

Contract: One month fixed term contract

Payment Structure:

• 50% advance and upon submission and approval of the initial technical proposal, including methodology and work plan.
• 50% upon successful delivery and approval of the final RMNCH+A module, along with all associated materials and reports.

SIEHS follows rigorous implementation of Code of Conduct, including Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, and Abuse, all applicants on positions will undergo relevant checks as per procedure to ensure compliance during and after the recruitment process and selected applicants are to comply with these principles in case of misconduct.
