GENERAL PURPOSE:
The MEAL Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining high-quality emergency medical dispatch operations in compliance with the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED) protocols. The candidate will ensure consistent call quality, provide constructive feedback to EMDs & ETCs, and actively participate in the training and mentoring of staff. The position also involves eligibility for IAED Instructor training to develop and deliver training sessions effectively
Key Responsibilities:
o Evaluate call-taking and dispatching processes against IAED standards.
o Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable feedback to EMDs.
o Maintain detailed records of evaluations and quality scores.
2. Training & Mentorship:
o Assist in the training of new and existing EMDs on MPDS protocols.
o Actively mentor and coach EMDs to improve performance.
o Lead refresher sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops.
3. Compliance & Protocols:
o Ensure adherence to IAED and SIEHS protocols in all dispatch operations.
o Keep up-to-date with IAED protocol updates and ensure timely dissemination to staff.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
o Generate regular performance reports for management.
o Document issues, corrective actions, and learning initiatives.
5. Leadership Role:
o Collaborate with the MEAL and Operations teams for continuous improvement.
o Act as a subject matter expert on MPDS and IAED standards.
Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor’s in Science/BSc in Nursing/LHV/Diploma in Nursing .
Experience: 1–2-year experience in monitoring & evaluation will be preferable
Age: 25- 35 years
Training/Courses (Preferred): Training/Courses: Written/Verbal Communication Skills, Computer Skills esp. Microsoft Office, BLS, or ALS qualifications.
Preference will be given to candidates with IAED-certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD),IAED EMD-Q Certification
