GENERAL PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to deliver quality clinical training to Emergency Medical Service (EMS) staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORTIES:

  • Should have a clear and comprehensive understanding of all training programs
  • To assist in development and implementation of medical training programs according to the Organizational Training and Development Procedure, in close collaboration with P&C and/or relevant departments
  • To conduct periodic trainings and refresher sessions i.e. CMEs in EMS
  • Collect and provide information needed in preparing departmental budgets
  • To assist and develop evaluation programs for trainees for assessment/improvement
  • To assist in implementation of all training & evaluation monitoring tools; including systems developed for tracking and monitoring of data of students, classes, trainings and equipment for audit
  • To assist in preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reports on training programs to the senior management
  • To coordinate, implement and ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems i.e. ISO 9001:2015, JCIA or others
  • Assist in designing courses and curriculum development
  • To assist in writing for CTD Quarterly newsletter & monthly updates
  • To provide external clinical trainings on First Aid, CPR, BLS to company MoU partners
  • To keep abreast of the advanced medical practices in the field of EMS by visiting hospitals and analyzing relevant global EMS committees and conferences
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the Manager Clinical Trainings

Qualification: (MBBS) from an HEC recognized university, or an alternate qualification that is supplemented by a certification/diploma/degree in Healthcare Management, Quality Management, or Advanced Healthcare Training (s) especially as Instructor.

Experience:   1-2 years of work experience in healthcare organizations in Emergency Services or Ward Management as House Officer   
Training/Courses: BLS, ALS and ISO/ JCIA standards awareness will be preferred; these trainings will also be offered after joining.
