BIO-MEDICAL ANALYST - SUKKUR

GENERAL PURPOSE

Analyst – Biomedical supervises the team of Biomedical Technicians. Investigating medical equipment failure: inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORTIES:

• Investigate medical equipment failure.
• Responsible for taking decisions (and resolution of problems) through proper Analyses of information and evaluating results to choose the best solution.
• Responsible for the effective and efficient performance and management of biomedical equipment’s within the division.
• Installation, adjustment, repair and maintenance of medical equipment and devices.
• Pre-purchase evaluation of medical equipment. Approve quality of parts supplied.  
• Ensure EMS Medical equipment testing & calibration
• Ensure data management of breakdowns, periodic maintenance, calibration and issuance of equipment and accessories.
• Ensure ISO compliance & preventative periodic maintenance of medical equipment
• Ensure full functional delivery of complete Ambulance Patient Rear Cabins for repair and maintenance management.
• Ensure the capability and strength of vendors for services we are seeking to outsource and assist them to modify or customize the product as per need.
• Managing the initial inspection and acceptance of new Vehicles, with respect to patient rear cabin, into the Service, to ensure the specified and appearance standards.
• Lead the service delivery and management of medical devices and equipment in house
• Review and develops maintenance procedures and quality assurance documents of consistently high standards of service.
• Research EMS medical device and equipment requirement to ensure EMS continues to meet the needs of its patient.
• Active support for Sindh project in regards biomedical division Medical equipment evaluation, purchasing and training of resource.
• Portable and fixed suction apparatus with regulator
• Pulse oximeter with pediatric and adult probes
• Automated external defibrillator (AED) with pediatric and adult sized pads
• Sphygmomanometer
• Transcutaneous Cardiac Pacemaker
• Cardiac Monitor /Defibrillator
• Blood Glucose Monitoring Equipment
• Auto loading stretchers.
• Immobilization devices.
• Automated resuscitator

Qualification: BS/BE in Biomedical Engineering  

Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience

Training/Courses: (preferable):  Medical Equipment’s Installation, repair /maintenance Experience (a plus)
