Brigadier Tarique Quadir Lakhiar (R), SI(M) is the first formally selected CEO of SIEHS. Brig Tarique Quadir Lakhiar, besides being a well-rounded, charismatic and amiable personality, brings with him a blend of rich & varied experiences. It encompasses his 32 years long meritorious military career alongside being an enterprising corporate executive and his international service with global organizations like UNO, US State Department PENTAGON & African Unity Organization etc. The latest is the most demanding role as COO- Thar Foundation at Thar Coal Project zone- a JV of GoS & Engro. He spearheaded a new era of inclusive development in Tharparkar with reinvigorating results.
He has been honoured for his contributions with numerous awards, a few being Sitare-e-Imtiaz (Military) by the President of Pakistan, the Honour Award at the University of MACWAR-Quantico Virginia-USA and the Medal of valor by the Secretary General of United Nations New York.
