GENERAL PURPOSE:

To assist in managing the SIEHS Fleet, support in establishing in-house workshops, and ensure emergency medical services vehicles are operational. To provide quality services to SIEHS ambulance and corporate fleets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:

  • Support in providing in-house solutions for the maintenance of ambulances and corporate fleets, especially Toyota Hiace and Toyota Hilux models.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all ambulance vehicles (Suzuki & Toyota Hiace) or any other manufacturers as needed.
  • Track and assist in managing the organization’s fleet assets, including vehicles, biomedical equipment, and related resources.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing ambulance operations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and assist in implementing strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Implement safety policies and procedures to minimize accidents and promote a safe working environment.
  • Help regulate the amount of parts inventory the department carries at any given time.
  • Maintain department activity records, including all transactions, financial records, and the company budget.
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators, such as vehicle utilization, maintenance costs, and fuel consumption.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.

REPORTING LINE AND LOCATION:

This position reports directly to the Manager Fleet or HOD Administration & Security Wing of the organization and is based at the Fleet Workshop in Karachi.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Qualification: Graduation or preferably B.E (Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering) / B-Tech

Experience:  Minimum 3-5 years of workshop management in Automotive/Manufacturing Industry, (EME/ASC)

Age: Min 28 years
