Manager - Finance (Karachi)

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Manager Finance Reporting will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, payroll due diligence, budgeting, and managing banking relationships. This role involves ensuring accuracy in financial data, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic financial planning for the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES FOR COMMAND & CONTROL CENTRE:

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  2. Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements.
  3. Conduct due diligence on payroll records to ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  4. Coordinate with HR to ensure proper documentation and employee compensation tracking.
  5. Perform periodic payroll audits to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  6. Identify and mitigate financial risks related to payroll, budgeting, and bank dealings.
  7. Support in budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budgets, alignment of budgeting processes with company goals., forecasts, and financial plans.
  8. Analyze budget variances and provide insights to improve financial performance.
  9. Monitor financial performance metrics and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  10. Develop project cost estimates and itemized cost breakdowns.
  11. Manage the company’s banking relationships and ensure efficient bank operations.
  12. Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and forecasts.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and guidelines.
  14. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audits and resolve any identified issues.
  15. Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial accuracy.
  16. Monitor changes in financial regulations and proactively adapt company policies and procedures as needed.
  17. Coordinate with other department teams to gather necessary financial data and insights for reporting purposes.
  18. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.

Qualification: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance, with a focus on payroll, budgeting, and bank operations.

Age: Minimum 25 years

Training/Courses/Certification (Preferred): such as MBA, ACCA, CMA

Domicile: Sindh
